HotelPlanner.com is the best and most popular hotel group reservation website where you will get the lowest prices per room. The website's policy is to beat their competitor's prices even at the lowest rates to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

  4. Ensuring you get the best rate, you choose your hotel and group rate.
  5. Group members can book and pay separately if needed.
  6. You can additionally get cash rebate and/or free room for group coordinator

I love hotelplanner.com. Very fast and easy to find hotel information and great prices.

Hotelplanner.com was a great way for me to research hotel rates and reviews for free and for really little time for my wedding. I can't remember how I found them, but I signed up for it as a fluke, thinking they couldn't possibly help me find a hotel in the same small little town I've lived in for most of my life, but turns out, they did. They found me better prices than I was able to negotiate on my own. I guess they send out a general message to all the hotels that fit your criteria and ask for them to bid on your event. I ended up getting an AMAZING hotel (Sawmill Creek in Huron OH) during Memorial Day weekend (big weekend for Cedar Point) for the same price a 2-star chain hotel quoted me a week earlier. I highly recommend using them- they were really able to help me out.

I called the hotel and got a better deal going direct. I was also told that Hotelplanner.com takes a 10% commission on my group. When I do all the work on booking the rooms with the hotel. Why would I want to give HOtelplanner.com 10%? Just get the bids and call the hotel directly.

I got a great group hotel rate through HotelPlanner.com. It was half of what the hotel was selling for. I always use them.

Beware hotelplanner.com when making reservations,, you could be double taxed, both in the state in which you make the hotel reservation and, in our case, the state of Missouri where the company is located, according to the service representative. In our case this resulted in a total approximately 20% higher than the posted nightly rate, although the nightly rate and total both state “includes tax recovery charges” on the printout. Making a call to the company within minutes to cancel will result in a $25 late fee and a representative who will only offer to “walk you through” the contract stipulations. According to the website, they are owned by Lexyl Travel Technologies with corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach FL, and a west coast office in San Diego, CA. Nowhere could I find a location in Missouri or the corresponding tax code which would allow double state taxation. It is a fine print ploy similar to credit card companies setting up shop in states which don’t set interest rate limits. I recommend that travelers look elsewhere when making reservations.

I book from HotelPlanner all the time. Best rates guarantee or they pay for your hotel room. I have booked over 8 reservations with them with no issue.

Hotelplanner.com's deals are half the price of other big travel sites. I use them all the time. They also have great contests for free travel on their Facebook page.

I signed up tonight for the Four Seasons Hotel via your website. I need travel instructions from London Heathrow Airport to the Four Seasons. Your receipt doesn't give the address or phone number or any significant information about the hotel.

Confirmation Number is 56363084 (But you call it something else).

HotelPlanner.com is a joke Used them for a family trip to NYC. The reservations were not complete so I was charged extra for my stay and extra for parking. The hotel front desk called their own reservation system people they then looked it up and said that we had booked through Expedia. After a little research i found that Hotelplanner.com just redirects through Expedia or other travel websites.

Never again for us, we were definetly disappointed

I booked and canceled this hotel on same day and months before the actual overnights. I was told I would not be charged anything, plus, the cancellation policy was not clear, and when I received my credit card statement, I was charged a one night rate. I don't know if this is the hotel or the hotel planner, but whichever it is, I am not happy. When I called to appeal, both venues gave very poor customer service. At the Hollywood Hote the woman refused to refer me to a person i could appeal my case to. She simply hung up on me. I will not do business with this Hotel or with the Hotel Planner ever again, and will advise friends/relatives to do same.

I booke my hotel stay throuhg hotelplanner.com for our Memeorial Day trip. I selected the hotel, dates gave them my CC and ect.. The hotel itself ran my credit card. I called te hote twice before I left me house and make sure we were good since this was thefirst time I had used them. My husband and I drove with our 2 kids 6 hours to Hiton Head only to be told they did not have a room for us. I tried countless numbers of times to call them, got hung up on several times. I even had famly memebers call from their homes to get an answer. We were stuck 6 hours away and had to pay double for a roach motel on the side of the interstate bcause we were too tired to drive home. NEVER NEVER NEVER US THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I'm glad to have used HotelPlanner.com and am a little baffled to see even a few complaints, given the experience I had with them. We used them to book a bachelor party for a group of about 14 guys and they hooked us up at the Hyatt Hotel, near the strip. Also, they got us a really cheap weekend rate. I would use HotelPlanner.com again for sure.

Horrible experience. I found a quote that satisfied me and my friends so I contacted customer service so that I could speak with an actual person. The rep. was very good at bull****. He assured me that I was getting 3 rooms for the price I found on the website and even explained to me that if I had any problems to call him. I also asked him if I could call the hotel just to double check my reservation and he said "sure, just give them about 30 min." I asked for his extension and he told me that it was he was the only person with that name within the company so it won't be hard to find him. As soon as I got off the phone with him, I checked my confirmation emails and the room prices were $50 more than I agreed to. I immediately called the number back that he gave me and asked for him and the rep on the other line said it was company policy that they cannot transfer me to a co-worker. This was at noon. The rep informed me that they could not take any action until the hotel got the reservation, which would be 2 1/2 hrs. I agreed to wait the 2 1/2 hrs on the dot and I called them back and got a new rep. I asked for a supervisor, she put me on hold, then came back and said her supervisor was on another call. I proceeded to tell her my story and after 45min of me being put on and off hold, she contacted the hotel (or she says) and told me that the people in charge of giving her authorization to cancel were at lunch and she would call me back in an hour. I took it upon myself to contact the hotel and found out that it was ANOTHER lie! I immediatley called back and asked for a supervisor again, but was never transfered. The last rep put me on hold and came back and began the cancellation process. This company wasted my time and now I have to make sure I get my money back like they said!

I'm in the middle of planning a group business trip and remember my wife went with HotelPlanner.com for our wedding. Both she and I were really happy with the cost and the customer service during such a stressful time. But both of our families had absolutely no issues with them or the hotel. They helped me through my marriage, so needless to say, I'd go with them again.

Hotelplanner.com is a rip off. I have spoke to customer service and noone seems to want to help me. So until I get some results I will come to this site and any other site I find and post my issues with hotelplanner.com. The hotel my family and were booked had huge water bugs in the room and spiders under the sheets. My family and I slept in the car that first night and checked outfirst thing in the morning. The hotel and hotelplanner have conflicting stories. All I wanted was my money back for the night we stayed at another hotel but they r charging me for both nights. I will never use hotelplanner.com again. And im thinking about starting a blog

Book a hotel with this planner and cancelled it right away because we changed our minds about going. The operator who obviously is from India said we cannot cancel our trip because they will charge us the amount the hotel cost. The message about this cancellation rule came up after you are done booking and not before you are just booking. I did not realize this until I went back and realized I just made a big mistake. I think that is the way they do it to make money. Rip offs!!!!

I needed one night in Boston for an important business meeting. Even a month before travel, websites were showing the city nearly booked due to a large international convention. I did, however, find a room at a reasonable price through hotelplanners.com. I was so pleased not only to find a room, but also to find one that wasn't over $500 per night. However, when I arrived at the hotel I was told that I had no reservation. Despite the fact that I prepaid my room, I was told that hotelplanners.com was actually a third or fourth party to the reservation process; they were informed two months prior that rooms were not available to be sold. A call to hotelplanners.com resulted in the representative telling the hotel to find me new lodging. Not only was the hotel overbooked, it was extremely busy; it really wasn't the Hilton's responsiblity to find me a hotel. Especially since it was overbooked. However, the Hilton manager was very nice and tried to locate another hotel for me to stay - in a nearby city. I called hotelplanners.com again, speaking to someone who answered the phone "Yeah" seemed to truly care less about my situation. Nonetheless, I was told to wait by my phone and hotelplanners.com would try to find a new reservation. After an hour wait, the Hilton hotel manager approached me and said that he had a cancellation that he would give me for the evening. I asked if his offer was due to negotiations with hotelplaaners.com; he said absolutely not as there was nothing to negotiate. He further indicated that I was the third person that day to present from hotelplanners.com without a "real" reservation. Lesson learned. If at all possible, always book direct. By the way, Hotelplanners.com never got back to me.

reserved a room for 3 people, the confirmation letter came says 2 people. Call their service, on hold for 15 minutes already, still waiting ...

If you want your group to be charged 10% commission on the entire group then use Hotelplanner.com. You could just call the hotel directly and ask for a lower rate without having the hotel pay the commission. I also met the CEO once and he is a real narcissistic jerk. I will never use them again.

I've had nothing but success when using hotelplanner. My wife and I hired a wedding planner in April to manage our arrangements. She recommended we used hotelplanner.com to reserve space in Jackson Hole during such a busy season. Sure enough they came back with great rates and were very responsive in making last minute changes. I've continued to use them for all other travel arrangements ever since!

Hotelplanner.com is a rip off. I reserved a room thru them and then the next day needed to cancel due to a family injury that cancelled our plans. They insisted on charging me fees that I was not informed of. Other sites and the hotel itself would not have charged these fees. The people were rude on the phone and are now flooding my email with the same message over and over.

COMPLETE RIP OFF!! Booked a hotel room & literally 5 minutes later called to cancel my reservation. All I wanted to do was get a refund & book a nicer hotel with them and they would NOT accommodate because it's their policy. I was told the hotel wouldn't authorize the cancellation a refund. I called the hotel directly, & was told that they have NOTHING to do with refunds since it was prepaid...they kept passing the buck back a forth and I STILL did not get resolvement. The people I spoke to were from New Dehli & told me that this hotel was nice and not to believe the reviews that I found on a different sight. Even the phone number hotelplanner provided for this particular hotel was out of service! I'm starting to wonder if this operation is even legit....HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE experience!! NEVER again and I strongly recommend to pass this website by when booking a hotel!! Not worth the frustration or money...total scam!!

I used Hotelplanner.com and would highly recommend the services they provide. I am surprised to see these negative comments but I guess anywhere you can get a bad experience once and bash them all over the internet. I used Hotel Planner to book a group of baseball players in a national tournament. The agent at Hotel Planner was quite friendly and all around helpful to set up a group block with the hotel we stayed at. Even after our stay I corresponded with Hotel Planner and received a cash back rebate for our team. BEST TRAVEL SITE! COMPETITIVE RATES! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! FAST and EASY!!

Hi. I'm surprised by all of the negative comments I've read about hotelplanner, although I don't know if the claims about taxes and stuff are true. But I've used them a few times now and haven't had a problem once. There was one occassion that called for complaint, but it was the hotel's fault, not hotelplanners!
